Work and Study in Canada

One of the biggest advantages that Canada offers its international students is the capacity to support themselves as they pursue their studies. International students are not required to have a work permit in order to find work in Canada, and may work up to 20 hours per week during the school year, and full-time during scheduled breaks.

Many international students in Canada have been able to pay off their education and cost of living expenses in this way, one of the many reasons Canada appeals to international students.
