To be eligible, students must hold a valid study permit, study full-time at a designated learning institution, maintain satisfactory academic standing, and possess a Social Insurance Number (SIN).
Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) Updates
Minister Miller, in a related announcement, revealed two significant updates regarding the Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Firstly, the flexibility for international students to count online study terms toward their future PGWP, with the condition that it does not exceed half of the total program duration, will be extended until September 1, 2024.
