Last May 7, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) sent over 237 immigration candidates invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through the Express Entry and Skills Immigration streams.
Depending on the subcategory, provincial score requirements were varied, with:
- Skilled Worker, requiring a provincial score of 108; and,
- International Graduate, requiring a score of 106,
both under the Express Entry BC stream.
For the Skills Immigration stream, the three subcategories were:
- Skilled Worker, requiring a provincial score of 102;
- International Graduate, requiring a provincial score of 106; and
- Entry-Level and Semi-skilled, requiring the lowest provincial score at 83.
This invitation round was largely influenced by the impact of COVID-19 on BC businesses, and did not include a number of sales and service occupations in the draw.
Those with invitations to apply now have up to 30 calendar days from the day their invitations were received to submit a complete application to the BC PNP for provincial nomination.
